Born and raised in “Chinese” Edmonton. I’m a Canadian Born Chinese (CBC). Went to Ross Sheppard and then to University of Alberta. Graduated in Nursing and worked as one for 12 years so far—I’ve worked in research, occupational health nursing, psychiatric nursing, emergency nursing, postpartum nursing, and NICU (neonatal sick babies) unit.
Married for what seems like forever. Have a husband, a 2 year old son Austin and 3 furry dogs to complete our family. Things that I’ve studied/interests in/ hobbies—piano, Chinese, badminton, volunteer mostly at hospitals, floral arrangements, business networking, trading (I buy REALLY GOOD STUFF from Asia and trade it with my friends). That is why I think I’ll be fantastic in Real Estate.
I also taught Chinese, piano, and badminton.
As you can see, I think I’m a pretty well rounded person. That’s what makes me a lifestyle person.
I grew up in a pretty traditional Chinese family with all their traditional values. It continues to be more intense after “adopting” my husband and his family (my inlaws) who continues to lecture me about the values and traditions and the importance of having to pass it on to Austin.
I lived in Castledowns for the majority of my life but have lived north, East, South, West during my dating/university life with my Husband since we rented for a few years. I know Edmonton!!! I also travelled to all the high schools within the Edmonton District that had a badminton tournament.
I love pets but I understand the challenges that come with the packages. I am definitely able to help and assist in that area. I have Obedience, Agility, Poison proofing, Tracking and Searching certificates with the training that I have done with my German Shepherd. My dog trainer was the police dog trainer for the City of Edmonton Police Services.
Fantasy vacation: HOME!!! Other than that, anywhere that’s warm and sunny.
